Actually any Mobile doesn't need PCsuite for connecting Internet in Ubuntu. This advantage is utilized for China mobiles. :-)
Step1: Configure your mobile internet connection with any nokia or sony ericson or any mobile which is configurable.
(You need to have Ubuntu 10.04 Operating System)
Step2: After your SIM get configured for internet connection, put it in your China mobile and connect it via data cable Now choose "COMport" option.
Step3: Open(in Ubuntu) System->Preferences->Network Connections
Click on "Mobile Broadband" and then click ADD button
a) It ll show your mobile name right or wrong never mind, click "FORWARD"
b) Choose the country as "India"
c) Choose your Service Provider Aircel or Airtel or Vodafone...
d) Choose your plan e.g., If you are using AIRCEL choose Prepaid
Configuration Finished
Step4: A window will open now, Just TICK "Connect Automatically" button.
Close everything. Now you will get the INTERNET :-)
Note: The above procedure has been tested with Sigmatel S90 with Aircel and TataDOCOMO
