Default Player in Ubuntu.
Advantages:
1. Accepts the Multimedia Control Keys of Keyboard
2. It watches for changes in the 'media' Folder.
3. Sits in System Tray. Even If we closed it.
4. We cannot RATE the song without opening the Player Window.
5. Connected with last.fm
2. Songbird:
Songbird stoppped the linux support. Even though, their Linux Version is available. Click here to download it. (Download - tar.gz i686).
Advantages:
1. Very Attractive GUI.
2.Watch for the Chnages in the Media Folder.
3. More No of Songs can be viewed simultaneously.
4. We can change ZOOM.
Disadvantage: Don't Accept Multimedia Keys, Don't sit on System Tray.
3. Banshee:
It is available in Ubuntu Software Center. Looks very Simple and Easy to Handle.
Advantages:
1. Accepts the Multimedia Control Keys of Keyboard
2. Sits in System Tray. Even If we closed it.
3. When it is playing, without opening from system tray itself, We can RATE the song.
4. Conneected to last.fm
Disadvantage: It doesn't watch for changes in the 'media' Folder.
